CAMP BESTIVAL DORSET CALLS FOR FAMILIES TO  BECOME WORLD RECORD BREAKERS AND RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY THIS SUMMER

Camp Bestival Dorset (28 – 31 July) has announced a major call out for festival goers to join a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title attempt for the Largest Disco Dance at the Dorset Jamboree this summer.

Tying in with this year’s Desert Island Disco theme at Camp Bestival Dorset and taking place on Saturday 30 July, the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title attempt will bring unprecedented excitement and the best disco moves to Lulworth Castle.

Breaking world records is no mean feat and in true Camp Bestival style the festival is determined to give as many Camp Bestival go-ers as possible the chance to become record breakers!

More than 324 people will be needed to break the current GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title. Not only will families become ACTUAL record breakers, but the title attempt will also raise much needed funds for Camp Bestival’s official charity partner, the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.

The dance is led by Diverse City founder and disco champion, Claire Hodgson MBE, and choreographed by fellow disco champion and brother, Tom Hodgson. Claire was awarded an MBE in 2016 for services to inclusion in the Performing Arts and continues to be an inspiration to many with her dedication to all things disco. Aspiring record breakers are encouraged to sign-up early due to limited availability!

Camp Bestival Dorset takes place at Lulworth Castle, July 28th to 31st 2022, for more info and for tickets visit campbestival.net
