The Trades in Hebden Bridge is playing host to Heavenly Recordings, the London-based record label who are celebrating their 25th anniversary in January with four days of musical brilliance. What better way to cheer up the deepest, darkest month of the year. Jimi Goodwin (pictured below), formerly of Mancs band Doves, will be playing a Saturday matinee set, along with Kid Wave. Mark Lanegan Band take to the stage Saturday night. Bolton natives Cherry Ghost take the Sunday matinee slot, and Liverpool girl outfit Stealing Sheep perform Sunday night. There’s plenty more going on with DJs and performances. Check out the FULL line up below:

Two Heavenly films are to be aired on Sunday: Lawrence of Belgravia and How We Used to Live.

Echo and the Bunnymen are auctioning some rare and tasty goodies at Omega Auctions in Stockport on November 14 starting 10.30am. I’m a big fan of Ian and the band and I’d love a poster or vintage merch… won’t stretch to a guitar tho.
