On the 5th July next sum­mer, The Lib­ertines head­line the Sum­mer Series at Dream­land Mar­gate, plus Soft Play, Sports Team and lots more tba are appear­ing for a mas­sive home­town concert.

Two decades after their land­mark debut Up the Brack­et, The Lib­ertines con­tin­ue to make music as pow­er­ful as ever. In 2023, they released All Qui­et on the East­ern Esplanade, their first album in nine years and their fourth together.

The band expand­ed their cre­ative ven­tures by open­ing The Albion Rooms, a res­i­den­tial stu­dio, HQ/art and events space in Mar­gate, where their lat­est album was record­ed. Fur­ther cement­ing their con­nec­tion to the town, the band is also head­line shirt spon­sors of Mar­gate FC.

At the heart of the band is the elec­tric, broth­er­ly bond between Pete Doher­ty and Carl Barat, sup­port­ed by the sol­id rhythm sec­tion of John Has­sall and Gary Powell.
