Ferocious, explosive tunes, fuzzy dirty bass and the out-there ball of energy that is the front-woman KT are the hallmarks of riveting Atlanta outfit Upchuck. And new track Last Breath is out today.
The Atlanta band – guitarists Mikey Durham and Hoff, bassist Ausar Ward, and drummer/vocalist Chris Salado, now signed to Domino, released album I’m Nice Now in autumn, before touring the US UK, and Europe. Today the band returns with new single, Last Breath, which was written and recorded during the I’m Nice Now sessions at Tornillo, Texas’ Sonic Ranch Studios with producer Ty Segall.
If getting sweaty to blistering punk is your thing, make sure you don’t miss their upcoming shows. Their November appearance at Village Underground was a blast, complete with moshing by track two. Upchuck will continue to tour throughout the year; among shows they are appearing at Manchester’s Outbreak Festival and the more intimate venue Oslo in London. Tickets are available here.
