Vic­to­ri­ous Fes­ti­val, set on Portsmouth’s South­sea seafront (dates this year 23–25 August) have announced a fur­ther set of artists to make 2024 an even bet­ter propo­si­tion! For starters there’s the Sug­ababes, who are rid­ing high at the moment with the orig­i­nal line­up back in force, as seen on Jools Hol­land’s Hoo­te­nan­ny on New Year’s Eve.

Dance stage head­lin­ers to look our for are Dub FX while on Sat­ur­day Groove Arma­da bring a DJ set of sem­i­nal dance anthems. On Sun­day UK rap leg­end and cul­tur­al icon Pro­fes­sor Green will close the festival. 

Shaun Ryder with Black Grape will be get­ting the crowd in par­ty mode on Saturday. 

Plus there’s Razorlight, The Kooks, James Bay and Tom Walk­er. Else­where on the bill fes­ti­val goers can see Sonique, The Clock­works, Lex­ie Car­roll, Royel Otis, Katie Greg­son-Macleod, Pacif­ic Avenue, Bel­lah Mau, John Pow­er and Tom A. Smith.

Also on the sec­ond wave are post-punk out­fit The Future­heads and new wave indie-rock group The Hun­na, along with the feisty Welsh girl group Pan­ic Shack. 

Vic­to­ri­ous has also announced everyone’s favourite pub land­lord Al Mur­ray as its final com­e­dy head­lin­er. For some fes­ti­val fun karaoke phe­nom­e­non BARRIOKE, host­ed by Shaun Williamson best known for his role as Bar­ry Evans in Eas­t­En­ders, has been added to 2024’s stacked line up.
