One of our favourite bands – who we first saw as support for The Besnard Lakes, have been busy. Fans can now hear new their dreamy new track Signify, check out their album PBE Archive Vol. 1 and book tickets to their next run of live dates (see below).
New single Signify, taken from the album, is a shimmery, dream-pop beauty that showcases the band at their shoegazy best in this number with a bit of a Beach House/Ride vibe.
PBE Archive Vol. 1 spans recordings from 2018 to 2025 – a curated collection of outtakes, alternate versions, and previously unreleased tracks that didn’t find a home on the band’s first three studio albums.
Says band member Lucy: “As we begin work on new material for a fourth PBE record we recently found various folders full of these unfinished tracks. Some in sketch form, others early demos, some ideas which date back to before we had even settled on a band name. Album four is taking on a bit of a different direction and we want to try some new working methods the next time around. With this in mind it feels like a good time to sign off on this particular chapter of PBE with a collection of bonus tracks that span the past three albums and nearly seven years.”
