Beard­ed The­o­ry at Cat­ton Hall is going to need that extra new stage with all the artists who are going to be pack­ing out the fes­ti­val this year. Thir­ty more artists have now been added to the already bril­liant line­up – and don’t for­get there’s more music going on from noon to the ear­ly hours at Mag­i­cal Sounds dance tent, plus Con­voy Cabaret and Maui Waui. And don’t for­get the Some­thing Else tea tent with its packed and eclec­tic line­up (plus cake and a com­fy chair).

Join­ing the already packed line­up is the dra­mat­ic and mes­meris­ing Anna Calvi (she also wrote the score for Peaky Blind­ers final two series). Also the Pre­tenders, and the Go! Team plus the bril­liant, ener­getic Bug Club will be appearing. 

Pub­lic Ser­vice Broad­cast­ing will no doubt bring their superb visu­als to cre­ate an unfor­get­table expe­ri­ence. There will be some chill time to enjoy a set by Lanterns on the Lake too. And already on the line­up was HENGE – he’s a very pop­u­lar fes­ti­val artist and always gets the crowd going.

Good to see so many women on the line­up too, such as Beth Orton, She Drew The Gun and The Mysterines.

Beard­ed The­o­ry fes­ti­val takes place at Cat­ton Hall, Der­byshire, from 25 – 28th May.
