Brighton fes­ti­val announces its sev­enth edi­tion of Muta­tions, tak­ing place on Fri­day 7th and Sat­ur­day 8th Novem­ber 2025. There’s an excit­ing mix of estab­lished and new inter­na­tion­al artists, all per­form­ing across nine of the city’s Grass­roots Music Venues.

Head­lin­ing this year’s fes­ti­val are – on Fri­day – post-punk quar­tet Dry Clean­ing, fresh from record­ing their third album with Cate Le Bon. On Sat­ur­day, local leg­ends Lam­bri­ni Girls return to Muta­tions to head­line with their unique brand of chaot­ic punk rock. 

Grit­ty, poet­ic post-punks Big Spe­cial, art-rock trio Mary in the Junk­yard, noise-rock pow­er­house Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs; break­out act Divorce, alt-rock quar­tet Keo, immer­sive shoegaz­ers Bdr­mm, Welsh garage-Indie band The Bug Club; post-punk/no-wave heroes Ditz, noise rock duo GANS; alt emo-punk rock­ers Uni­ver­si­ty, avant-pop trio Steal­ing Sheep, and skate-punks Upchuck.

Oth­er artists appear­ing are Adult DVD, Court­ing, Ist Ist, VLURE, Fick­le Friends and it’s good to see that The Orielles are also per­form­ing. There’s also a fur­ther 75 more inspir­ing artists set to perform.

As at pre­vi­ous years, Wrist­band Exchange is locat­ed at the East Street entrance to the Chalk venue. There will be Muta­tions Fes­ti­val bar­ri­ers out­side lead­ing the way. Wrist­band Exchange will be open dur­ing Fri­day – 2:00pm to 10:00pm and Sat­ur­day – 12:00pm to 10:00pm.
