We’re lov­ing the sound of this gen­tle and heart­warm­ing fes­ti­val. Good Vibra­tions Soci­ety returns to Ash­down For­est this sum­mer with an expand­ed pro­gramme that dives even deep­er into con­nec­tion, com­mu­ni­ty and cre­ativ­i­ty. Along­side the music music line-up, there are trans­for­ma­tive talks, evening live ses­sions in The Root, a diverse show­case of local per­form­ers, fresh eco part­ner­ships and the new Beat­tle Bar – a wood­land cock­tail and jazz hide­away. Also await­ing fes­ti­vallers are the revamped food court, bou­tique glamp­ing and camper­van options.

Tak­ing place in Pip­ping­ford Park, Good Vibra­tions is a fam­i­ly-friend­ly cel­e­bra­tion of music, nature and self-expres­sion. With head­line per­for­mances from Nor­man Jay MBE, So Sol­id Crew, Soul II Soul, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Lon­don African Gospel Choir, Face­soul, Luke Una, Gen­er­al Levy, Ayla Nereo and more, the music pro­gramme spans soul, garage, jazz, reg­gae, gospel and glob­al sounds.

The Wild Spa returns, offer­ing wood-fired saunas, for­est bathing and cold plunges The Root will once again be the hub for well­be­ing work­shops, yoga, and now expand­ed evening enter­tain­ment, fea­tur­ing three nights of folk, devo­tion­al, and world music from artists includ­ing Yael Deck­el­baum, Face­soul, Susie Ro, The Trou­ble Notes, Folka­delix, Pixxie Pete, and Solebound.

Over in The Branch­es, talks and a pan­el pro­gramme will bring bold ideas and imag­i­na­tion to the fore, with ses­sions includ­ing: Neu­ro­di­ver­si­ty is Bio­di­ver­si­ty- Where Sci­ence Meets Spir­i­tu­al­i­ty- Learn­ing from Myceli­um Net­works and more.

Over 60 local acts will per­form includ­ing one of our favourite artists, Phildel. Also Papaya Moon, Sole­bound, Burn the Boat, Mor­gan Elwy and more.

New for 2025 is The Beat­tle Bar – a hid­den wood­land venue serv­ing sin­gle malts, fine wine, craft cock­tails and top-shelf spir­its along­side a pro­gramme of live freestyle jazz curat­ed in part­ner­ship with Trin­i­ty Laban Conservatoire.

And of course, one of the festival’s most beloved tra­di­tions con­tin­ues – the Free Tea Tent, run by a group of love­ly retired locals. Whether you need a break, a chat or just a warm brew, this is where con­nec­tion tru­ly happens.
