Hot Chip share two new remix­es of Ready For The Floor – their high­est chart­ing sin­gle yet – by UK pro­duc­er Mel­la Dee. On the Mel­la Dee Dub ver­sion, Mel­la Dee teas­es out the track to sev­en min­utes focus­ing and slow­ing down Alex­is Taylor’s sin­gu­lar vocals: “Do It Do It Do It Now.” whilst the Span­glecore Dub edit sees Mel­la Dee strip away even more to cre­ate a hyp­not­ic trip­py alternative.

And Fri­day (Sep­tem­ber 5th) sees the release of Joy In Rep­e­ti­tion, Hot Chip’s Best Of album. A col­lec­tion shaped by dance­floors, bed­room stu­dios, fes­ti­val stages and friend­ship, Joy In Rep­e­ti­tion arrives more than two decades deep into Hot Chip’s career.

The Best Of maps out Hot Chip’s artis­tic evo­lu­tion with six Top 20 albums, a Mer­cury Music Prize nom­i­na­tion, sell-out res­i­den­cies at London’s Brix­ton Acad­e­my and list of col­lab­o­ra­tors that includes David Byrne, Jarvis Cock­er, Robert Wyatt and Bri­an Eno.
