Kaleidoscope opened this year with the Amy Winehouse Band, followed by mega-choir Some Voices. Up on the Cloud 10 dance arena, Roni Size delivered a set to get everyone in the party groove. Later, Black Grape performed on the main stage while Bez’s Acid House Experience led football chants over on the Fringe stage. Kids had an expanded area, almost a festival for themselves, with bubbles, crafts, science and loads more. Down in the Victorian Basement, the secret set turned out to be… Utah Saints! Later, Groove Armada drew the crowds to the dance arena and M J Cole and Rudimental closed the festival… well, almost… before the England versus Norway quarter final!
