Psych Krautrock band Mien – mem­bers include Black Angels Alex Maas and Rishi Dhir of Ele­phant Stone – is return­ing to tour the UK in May, and we could­n’t be more excited.

Mien mem­ber Rishi Dhir is lead vocal­ist plus gui­tar and sitar play­er with his oth­er band Ele­phant Stone who have toured the UK sev­er­al times includ­ing a show at The Lex­ing­ton in 2024. Alex Maas released a haunt­ing­ly beau­ti­ful solo album in 2023 called Luca which we includ­ed on our Top Albums of the Year 2020 list.

There’s also a spe­cial gig tak­ing place in Ele­phant Stone’s home town of Mon­tre­al on Fri­day 18th May, where Ele­phant Stone are sup­port for Mer­cury Rev at the The­atre Outremont.

Mien’s sec­ond album called MIIEN is also released on April 18th on their new label Fuzz Club. Track Silent Gold­en (below) which was con­ceived by Tom Furse, is lift­ed from the album.
