South Fac­ing have been announc­ing some incred­i­ble names to their day fes­ti­vals this year – and now the line­ups are com­plete. Their var­i­ous dates spread across August span elec­tron­ic, indie, hip-hop, folk, and more and South Fac­ing con­tin­ues to estab­lish itself as a cul­tur­al cor­ner­stone in the UK’s sum­mer fes­ti­val calendar.

The final announce­ment came last week with dance music leg­ends Base­ment Jaxx adding a huge sup­port line-up to their Fri­day head­line show on 22 August. Franc Moody bring con­tem­po­rary funk, awash with elec­tron­ic inspi­ra­tion, human touch­es and throb­bing grooves. Also added are broad­cast­er, DJ and record label Gilles Peter­son plus Lon­don-based DJ, pro­duc­er, label boss, cura­tor, radio host, Kit­ty Amor.

Base­ment Jaxx will now head­line Crys­tal Palace Park on both Fri­day 22 August, and Sat­ur­day 23 August. Say Base­ment Jaxx: “We are thrilled to be adding a sec­ond night of our full live show expe­ri­ence at Crys­tal Palace Bowl in the Sum­mer. We’ll now be play­ing both Fri­day and Sat­ur­day of the August Bank Hol­i­day plus we’ll be joined by a few Spe­cial Guests for two amaz­ing nights! Thank you, Lon­don – we’ll see you soon…” 

In addi­tion there are sev­en oth­er events hap­pen­ing from Mog­wai and Lankum on 7th August to Love Motion with Nile Rodgers & Chic on 24th August.
