There was plen­ty of amaz­ing music to keep us busy all day. Female-lead acts lead the way, includ­ing impres­sive new act Atl Blk Era who opened the main stage, the rous­ing five-piece band Man/Woman/Chainsaw who just made it in time for a slight­ly late set, and – tak­ing the ear­ly evening slot – returnees Nova Twins. Twat Union appeared at Con­voy Cabaret tent; else­where Man­nequin Pussy and Lime Gar­den appeared. Pol­ish band Tru­pa Tru­pa were an enter­tain­ing draw, and over on the Wood­land stage, young artist Ruby J proved she’s a per­former with a big future.

Iggy Pop gave his all in a superb per­for­mance, emo­tion­al and intense – you could feel the love in the air. Plen­ty of folk head­ed over the the Mead­ow stage for a great set by Ash before call­ing it a night while those with more sta­mi­na par­tied on.
