There was plenty of amazing music to keep us busy all day. Female-lead acts lead the way, including impressive new act Atl Blk Era who opened the main stage, the rousing five-piece band Man/Woman/Chainsaw who just made it in time for a slightly late set, and – taking the early evening slot – returnees Nova Twins. Twat Union appeared at Convoy Cabaret tent; elsewhere Mannequin Pussy and Lime Garden appeared. Polish band Trupa Trupa were an entertaining draw, and over on the Woodland stage, young artist Ruby J proved she’s a performer with a big future.
Iggy Pop gave his all in a superb performance, emotional and intense – you could feel the love in the air. Plenty of folk headed over the the Meadow stage for a great set by Ash before calling it a night while those with more stamina partied on.
