The lat­est track to drop from ebul­lient ravey band Fat Dog is Peace Song – arriv­ing just in time for, yes, Xmas, and that’s our first men­tion of it this for this year. Direc­tor James Ogram over­sees the video with the band start­ing out in the pub just before an apoc­a­lyp­tic announce­ment on TV… and indeed the world ends in unex­pect­ed, yet typ­i­cal Fat Dog fash­ion. The “fes­tive” dance bal­lad even fea­tures a chil­dren’s choir. This is the sort of fun, dance­able sea­son­al tune we could do with right now.

Fat Dog dropped their first album WOOF in Sep­tem­ber – giv­ing fans just enough time to learn the lyrics before their tour, where doubt­less there’s some joy­ful mosh­ing. WOOF is avail­able to buy on red vinyl, stan­dard vinyl, CD and digitally. 

Their cur­rent sold-out UK tour cul­mi­nates at London’s Ken­tish Town Forum this week­end. But there are plen­ty of 2025 dates book­ing up now, UK dates below. 

There are also a few fes­ti­val dates for next sum­mer, such as Beard­ed The­o­ry, where we’re sure they’ll go down a storm.
