Kaleidoscope festival at Alexandra Palace and Park, north London is a real family event with lots going on for children as well as adults. ‘R’ Voices Choir, Huey Morgan the Fun Lovin’ Criminal, Antony Szmierek, The Go! At Cloud 10, Kaleidoscope’s dance arena at the top of the Palace, Mr Scruff and Erol Alkan got the crowds dancing.

The dedicated children’s area was continually busy with plenty of entertainers for children and families. And a talking point this year was the bar – powered by ‘Gusty Spinfield’ the pink and purple wind turbine, which has travelled over from Glastonbury festival, and will be at Ally Pally, providing energy for the next month or so.
