On a beau­ti­ful evening with the sun­set glow­ing through the win­dows of Alexan­dra Palace, the sun-soaked crowd mean­dered through the park and onto the grassy slopes to enjoy three fan­tas­tic acts.

Los Bitchos got the crowd into par­ty spir­it with their dance-ori­ent­ed Turk­ish dis­co sound. Next were Eng­lish Teacher who I’ve seen many times since their ear­ly days. Lily Fontaine has blos­somed into a mes­meris­ing front woman. Tal­ent­ed Wet Leg pre­dictably deliv­ered a fan­tas­tic head­line set and absolute­ly blew every­one away with a packed set and a superb live performance.
