Ella Clayton’s second album Could It Be You? is set for release on 24th April. Meanwhile she’s been dropping the occasional track from this new work, and the latest is the captivating and quirky single called Dolomites.

Recorded at George Ezra’s studio Hotel Quebec, Dolomites expresses the desire to be alone. It’s the perfect vehicle for Ella’s rich, soulful vocals. There’s an understated expressiveness to her voice as she narrates this confessional tale of being ‘jammed in a car’ with someone and wanting the freedom to break free and be on her own.

The result is a song that feels slightly unpredictable as it shifts into the final, euphoric section – which will sound fabulous live. The atmospheric video is filmed and directed by Margarita Velentza.

To celebrate the album release, she’ll be throwing a launch at London’s 100 Club on 28th May.
