Out on Domino now is Fat Dog’s new single Go F*** Urself. The song is unveiled just in time for festival season, joining the rest of the Fat Dog canon of party bangers. There’s a bouncy 80s pop thread running through it with propulsive beats while vocalist Joe Love intones the sombre vocals: “Some jokers play the same old game / No one to annoy / Find a mirror and the person to blame.”
Fat Dog are about to head out on an extensive tour in the UK and Europe. Joe Love is a magnetic front man who puts a lot of energy into his performance – he’s not shy about jumping off the stage and mingling with fans either. Next week they’ll be playing at Bearded Theory festival (below); the band played last year – it was a short set due to a crowd member feeling unwell – so this will be a welcome return set.
