Frazey Ford now to appear at Green Man fes­ti­val 2022.

Flut­tery, frag­ile yet with a qui­et pow­er, when Frazey Ford starts to sing, the vocals that emerge are some­thing dis­tinct and unique. The Van­cou­ver artist sings right from the soul, her voice elo­quent­ly express­ing and encom­pass­ing all the emo­tions of a life that has not been easy. She has released a new song called Saul, writ­ten about her son, which was orig­i­nal­ly record­ed for the album. 

And fol­low­ing huge acclaim for her 2020 album U kin B the Sun, Frazey Ford starts an 11-date UK tour. 

Frazey explains: ‘Saul’ is a lan­guid ode to moth­er­hood, “sim­ply about the dev­as­tat­ing amount of love you have for a child”. Her tremu­lous voice lav­ish­es a delib­er­ate bass-laden groove on this lone out­take from her 2020 album U Kin B the Sun. She began writ­ing the song not long after the birth of Saul – who fea­tures as the clouds in Frazey’s recent video for “U kin B the Sun” – and only com­plet­ed recent­ly, the song is restrained yet cathartic. 

Fol­low­ing her resound­ing return to the stage across the USA in Octo­ber, Frazey brings her daz­zling live pre­sen­ta­tion of U kin B the Sun to the UK begin­ning Novem­ber 17, with Cana­di­an and Euro­pean dates in ear­ly 2022.  Tour dates below:
