Singer and actress Anna Demetri­ou launch­es her debut album More To This on 12th May. A hand­ful of sin­gles are out already, high­light­ing the dis­tinc­tive and expres­sive voice behind the com­po­si­tions. Anna unveiled I Can’t Wait in 2021 fol­lowed by Twice The Breath, with accom­pa­ny­ing video. She fol­lowed with the album’s title track More To This on 10th Novem­ber, 2022. 

Anna was writ­ing songs before meet­ing pro­duc­er / musi­cian Tom E Mor­ri­son, and he has pro­duced this first album. About the part­ner­ship, Anna says: “Tom trans­formed the songs which were at a very raw stage and arranged them in ways I had nev­er thought they would sound. The songs went on a jour­ney from the start to the end. We’ve cre­at­ed an album we are both very proud of.”

As an estab­lished actress, Anna has appeared in the films Viking Des­tiny and The Marine 6: Close Quar­ters. Her name may also be famil­iar to mem­bers of the gam­ing com­mu­ni­ty: she has voiced char­ac­ters in 14 video games includ­ing ‘Star Cit­i­zen’, ‘Hori­zon For­bid­den West’, and more recent­ly played Sophia in ‘A Plague Tale: Requiem’. Anna’s vocal style is com­mand­ing and rich­ly tex­tured, and she’s able to con­vey a range of emo­tion with sub­tle­ty. The album cov­ers a range of gen­res includ­ing bal­lads – includ­ing the title track More To This – and even a coun­try-influ­enced track – I Can’t Tell (If You’re Tired).
